Located behind the coastal mountains, Salmon Run is only 3.5 miles from downtown Brookings. With four sets of tees that stretch from 4,129 yards to over 6,000 yards. Salmon Run truly offers a course for every skill level in a setting that you will never forget. The front 9 is traversed with creeks for an excellent opportunity to work on course management skills. The back nine is considered more open with a 9-hole par 36 that encourages a driver on several holes–including some risk/reward par 4s that a long drive can reach for the eagle opportunity. Those wishing to work on their short game will take advantage of the 18-hole par 3 course set up with holes ranging from 89 yards to 179 yards.

A municipal course owned by the City of Brookings, you may see salmon and steelhead in Jack Creek as they miugrate upstream to spawn. A restaurant, full-service bar, pro-shop, and excellent PGA teaching staff are ready to make your Salmon Run golfing experience even more enjoyable.

Excellent green fees offer a variety of discounts for every golfer, including senior, junior, and veteran discounts. While most golfers enjoy using carts to move their game along, Salmon Run offers a challenging walk for golfers lookings to stretch out for a day.

The new Occasion Hall, constructed in 2019, offers facilities for weddings, receptions, conferences, reunions, meetings, and more. Put Salmon Run on your list of must play courses for a truly unique experience.

Little jewel of a layout snugged in the Chetco River Canyon, streams and wildlife everywhere, well-maintained given the limitations of the environment and public-course budget. I’ve played some beauties, including Northstar in Tahoe and Greyeagle in the Sierras, but Salmon Run is right up there with those high-end courses. Heck just the roller-coaster rides to the tee boxes are worth the modest green fees!
